Having grown up in Melbourne, I moved to London in 1999. I had always suffered with headaches and migraines, for which GPs enthusiastically prescribed a myriad of painkillers. When a friend in London suggested I try acupuncture, I did so, and was amazed with the results- not only did the acupuncture sort the headaches and migraines but also balanced my whole system holistically. I knew I needed to heal others with this incredible discipline and embarked on a Bachelor of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Acupuncture. Upon completing my degree with honours in 2006, I established my own practice, with clinics in London’s City and at a prestigious private members’ health spa in Chelsea. I also volunteered at a London community acupuncture clinic specifically for HIV patients.
When I left the UK after 12 years, I travelled and volunteered in India for a year, mainly volunteering at the office of the Dalai Lama in northern India, before relocating to Australia and moved to the Bellinger Valley in 2018 and am lucky to be providing Traditional Chinese acupuncture, moxibustion and cupping therapy throughout the Bellinger and Nambucca valleys.
I have a particular interest in treating stress and stress-related conditions, and all aspects of women’s health. I am extremely passionate about my work and am excited about providing such an essential and important healing service to people in this beautiful area which I am so happy to call home.
